Ulhas river breaches warning level at two locations

Badlapur: Ulhas river, which flows through Badlapur, Ambernath and Kalyan, has crossed the warning level at Mohane and Jambhulpada following continuous heavy rainfall, prompting the district administration to issue an alert for residents living close to the banks.According to officials, the river has already reached the warning level of 9 metres at Mohane. The danger level at the location is 10 metres.At Jambhulpada, the situation is more concerning. The warning level is 13 metres, while the river has already risen to 13.3 metres. The danger level at Jambhulpada is 14 metres.The administration has advised people residing along the riverbanks to remain vigilant and have advised those living close to the river to shift safer locations.
