Mumbai: A seven-year-old boy allegedly sustained an injury to his upper lip after being hit with a plastic bottle by a daycare staff member at Euro Kids Runwal Forest, Kanjur Marg.The Vikhroli police have booked the staffer under the Juvenile Justice Act.According to the police on Aug 4, the child was at the daycare from 3 pm to 8 pm as both his parents work. When his mother arrived to pick him up at around 8 pm, staff allegedly claimed that he had fallen while playing. However, after reaching home, the child told his mother that a daycare staff member had thrown a plastic bottle at him. He was subsequently taken to Fortis Hospital for treatment, following which his parents lodged a complaint against the staffer.
