Bhiwandi Police Register Case Against Four for Illegal Chemical Dumping

Bhiwandi: Nizampura police have registered a case against four persons, including a tanker driver, for allegedly discharging black-coloured chemical waste into an open nullah at Kambe in Bhiwandi, creating a public nuisance and potential health hazard.According to the complaint, the incident occurred on Wednesday at around 2.30am at a nullah near Kumarpada Compound on Bhiwandi-Kambe Road. The accused allegedly discharged foul-smelling black chemical waste from a tanker into the public nullah without having the required permission or authorised facility for disposal.The complaint states that the tanker driver, identified as 30-year-old Laxman Shyamlal Chavan, allegedly emptied the chemical into the nullah instead of disposing of it through an authorised mechanism.Police have registered a case against Chavan and others, including Shah Nawaz Siraj Ahmed Momin, Premnath Bagal and Jayram Jaiswal, in connection with the incident. The accused have been booked for allegedly causing public nuisance and creating a danger to the public by illegally disposing of chemical waste.
